I'm Often Asked
From the Vault
I often text Patty or the girls, “Doin?”
Sitting here waiting on the Snow Storm of the Century as a national prognosicator just dubbed what will now be covered wall to wall by local news stations until maybe Monday. Thankfully, the Thunder will be on FanDuel later. Yes, subscriptions are ridiculous. But one can only take a small amount of storm tracker videos of snow and ice covered roads.
I do have Theo from Golden to read over the impending local shutdown.
When I decided to turn off the website I have maintained for at least tweny years and focus only on Substack, I was glad to have imported not just a few of those older posts. Unfortunately I may have to import quite another large batch manually. Maybe.
So for many of you who Follow or Subscribe, here is a post from the Vault. Most of my earlier posts were interviews conducted by me. In this episode of patheological: the podcast for the pastor-theologian, Jason and Teer turn the tables and interview me. For those of you who do not know much about the author behind the posts this is something of an introduction.
Last week I attended the Recharge Session of the Iowa Preachers Project, IPP. This is a grant funded project under Lily’s funded Compelling Preaching initiative. My friend Jason is the Preacher-in-Residence. Ken Jones leads the project.
“How did you and Jason meet?” asked Ken.
That is a longer story. But it is an interesting bit to pick up. When this was recorded, I had not met Jason or Teer in real time.
Enjoy.

This was great Todd. Thanks for posting this.
